Women of Worth Australia Foundation Inc. is a Not-for-Profit Dedicated to Changing the Lives of Women in our Community.
Dream and Vision
The Foundation was born out of need. Our founder had spent many years in Management and Counselling. With many years working with Job Seekers many who were long-term unemployed and from a disadvantaged background. In 2012, our Founder had a dream and started to put things into action.
The first workshop was run after hours while she was still working. This workshop was run at a community centre with 12 females who attended. The main objective was to promote Work rather than Welfare. The workshop was a huge success and every female who attended was employed by one of many employers who our founder had built up relationships with.
During this time, our Founder noticed something that participants had in common and that was the lack of Self-Worth.
They lacked the ability to invest the time and effort into themselves to become successful. Many females came from a disadvantaged background. Some younger females had spent years under the foster system, others had spent time in jail and others had simply made some choices that had led them down a difficult path.
Knowing that Self-Worth is fundamental to Success and with the desire to Empower, Inspire, Motivate, Protect and Guide them and many more women in discovering their own self-worth, the Women of Worth Australia Foundation Inc, was born and it’s mission started.
